Our mountain bistro offers small plates and entrees that showcase the Rangeley Lakes region through the sourcing of fresh, local ingredients from Maine.  Each dish is individually crafted to keep your "Forks in the Air" between bites!  Our menu rotates with the seasons and crops.  You're sure to find a variety of items that will satisfy any taste.

Forks in the Air began as a passion for great food shared with family and friends.

Food organizes our lives: what great creation is being served when and what wine best complements the meal. Our vacations center around restaurant reservations made before we even step foot in whatever paradise we are seeking. We have built outdoor kitchens, wood-burning pizza ovens, written cookbooks and competed in BBQ contests.

We love food.  

Our dream was to someday open our own restaurant. When the opportunity presented itself in our favorite vacation spot, we were thrilled! Rangeley has been an annual destination for our family since 1962, and now we get to spend more time here and fulfill our dream by opening Forks in the Air Mountain Bistro.
